Today's topic is Reincarnated Manga Books! Reincarnated stories, also known as Isekai novels, have become much more popular over the last few years, gaining the term "Isekai'd."
Isekai translates to "other world" in Japanese.
Hence, Isekai stories revolve around the main character dying in their previous life to be reborn as a new character placed in a fantasy setting. It's a fun concept that we have become big fans of. For those new to the genre or those looking for new recommendations, we hope you find a new series to get into!
This list is not in any particular order.
1.) Skeleton Knight In Another World

Summary:
A gamer falls asleep—only to wake up in the world of the game he was playing! Our Thoughts:
We got introduced to this series from the anime show and absolutely fell in love. The setting, characters, and plot are all so great! It's not too intense but has its moments to keep you engaged. The main character, Arc, is funny and such a cool hero. Really enjoy the blossoming friendship and romance between Arc and Ariane.For this series, there is a manga book and a light novel book (Light Novel = a book with only words, no pictures like a manga). They came out only a few days apart and are slightly different. The light novel has a more serious tone, while the anime and manga feel a bit more easygoing. Still an amazing read/watch, we highly recommend it!

2.) Not Sew Wicked Stepmom

Our Thoughts:
We Absolutely love this series! The main heroine, Abigail, is funny, smart, and lovable! We loved the nod to Snow White in this story and enjoyed the various elements that linked to that fairytale. Abigail gets a certain item, and it makes the story even better.The little girl, Princess Blanche, is also precious, and it was fun watching Abigail basically fangirl over her. And then there's the dynamic between Abigail and Sabrien which is both fun and cute! Definitely check this one out if you're looking for a lovely read!

3.) Beware the Villainess

Our Thoughts:
We read this years ago, back when it was still only on manga apps like mangafox. So when we found out it's going to be released in physical form we were super excited for it! We both really love the story and enjoyed how strong-minded the main heroine, Melissa Fodderbrat, is.The side characters and love interest are all intriguing and bring a good balance to the plot... which can be a bit political at some points. But overall this is a great series and the story is actually completed so it will be fun being able to reread the series in its entirety again in book form!

4.) An Observation Log of my Fiancée Who Calls Herself a Villainess

Our Thoughts:
This is one of our personal favorite reincarnated stories! It's light and simple but full of funny and sweet moments. The main heroine, Bertia, is really interesting and the love interest, Prince Cecil, has a mysterious air about him but the authors made him a little different in the fact that he falls first!This is such a good series and even though it's unfortunately on Kindle only, we hope that a physical book is on its way! Definitely be sure to check this one out if you can!
5.) I'm the 4th Villainess So I'm Taming The Final Boss

Our Thoughts:
This series was meant to be completed at 3 books but it seems that there is going to be a 4th book soon, possible to tie off any loose strings? The ending to the third book made it seem as if it was the official ending so when we got news of a 4th book we were shocked...in a good way. Though to be fair we thought that because it's been almost 2 years since the 3rd book came out. But we think it may have something to do with the fact that the anime series did really well. Either way, we really love this story and the characters and hope that they continue it for a while longer! This series also has a light novel version to it that so far has 9 volumes in it, but a 10th book will be released in March 2025.
This is a more warm and cozy take on the reincarnated trope, at least we think so, so be sure to check it out if you're interested!
6.) The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent

Our Thoughts:
This is a really good series with a wonderful heroine, Sei! We really enjoy Sei and what she brings to the new world she's been thrust into. She makes the best out of a not-so-great situation and goes on her own path, which was not uncommon to see within the world of "reincarnated stories" but it was still nice to see!This story has a manga, light novel, and anime adaption...it's become relatively popular we'd say!

7.) The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior

Our Thoughts:
This story only has 3 manga books so far but it's really good! The characters and heroine, Ivy, are all wonderful and it's somewhat funny to see this young child take on such a monumental role, giving her pretty much the title of Queen. We really enjoyed the various tasks she takes on and enjoyed how her character is quite skilled in tactics. 8.) From Maid to Mother

Our Thoughts:
This is a really sweet series more so set in the genre of found family. Lily's make-shift family is really heartwarming to see and the friends surrounding them create a cozier and warm atmosphere. 9.) The Perks of Being an S-Class Heroine

Our Thoughts:
This came out pretty recently, we actually won the first copy which was pretty exciting and even better...we actually really enjoyed the book! The story is interesting and I really like the aspect of being able to get "add-ons" when you get reincarnated, it was a fun concept.The only thing that was a bit much was the "gods." We felt like it was overdone and it's only been the first book, she even made a new religion which felt a bit odd. But to be honest we just overlooked that portion and enjoyed the story for what it was, a fun and interesting reincarnation book!

10.) My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom!

Our Thoughts:
This is one of the series that really got us into the reincarnated genre! The story is super fun and easygoing, and the heroine, Catarina, is super lovable and fun to watch! This has a manga, a light novel, and a two-season anime adaptation, which is pretty good for a manga! We personally think this had a hand in making the Isekai/reincarnated genre popular, so we're pretty thankful for the series!Just be warned though that this story is a reverse harem, which means almost every person who gets introduced falls for her in some type of way. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's made it slightly difficult to decipher who she will end up with. We both hope it's the Prince, but only time can tell with this one! Either way, if you are new to the reincarnation genre, then this is a pretty good series to start with!

11.) Cross Dressing Villainess Cecilia Sylvie

Our Thoughts:
Cross-dressing in manga/anime is always fun, and this series gives that same comical and fun energy we were hoping for! The heroine, Cecilia Sylvie, is witty and funny and brings a refreshing take on the reincarnation trope. When we first read this we thought it was both funny and smart to disguise yourself as a man so you can avoid dying. It goes just as good as you would expect it to but that makes the story even better since Cecilia has a lot of rocky hills to climb. Overall a good series!12.) Magic Artisan Dahlia Wilts No More

Our Thoughts:
We really enjoy this series as the heroine, Dahlia, is smart and wants to create helpful gadgets...a fun yet difficult task. She goes through a few trials...one including a certain guy that is a bit frustrating but after she deals with that the story picks up! A lot of the story revolves around the gadgets she makes which might not be for everyone but if her invention-making is something that sounds interesting then reading it will be fun!13.) Why Raeliana Ended Up at the Duke's Mansion

Our Thoughts:
The main character, Raeliana, is both smart and fun. She understands what she needs to do to get out of a bad marriage and from there a romance blossoms with the somewhat mysterious Duke, Noah.
We will say that she isn't always very thankful as the Duke does help her quite a bit, but we're taking it as she's still in shock from being Isekai'd. When put like that...can you really blame her? But hopefully, she comes around and realizes the Duke isn't so bad, we think she just needs time. (don't we all *sigh*).

14.) The Savior's Book Café Story in Another World

Summary:

Our Thoughts:
Really loved the overall vibe of this story! We are big book lovers so when she asks for a bookshop when she gets reincarnated we squealed with joy! She was an older woman when she died so she wants to live a peaceful life...of course that's not exactly how this story goes but in general it is a cozy story.
The romance is some top-tier adorableness, though there are a few misunderstandings and trials for them. But overall this is a great series! Plus this is a completed series so we think this is another good reincarnation story to start with!

15.) Villainess Level 99

Summary:
A college student finds herself resurrected as Eumiella, an evil daughter of the nobility in the world of an Otome RPG that she played in her previous life. In the RPG, Eumiella isn’t worth thinking about at first, but in the endgame content she returns as a hidden boss, complete with ridiculous stats that put her on par with even the game’s heroes.
Our Thoughts:
We really love the concept for this series as we enjoy gaming too, so we really understood her curiosity for leveling! Her attitude is also pretty fun to watch as she's more monotone than any main heroine on this list.
She does have a bit of a romance arch but it's been more of a slow build, which isn't bad at all...just something we noticed. And it makes sense for her character since she's more focused on leveling. There is also an anime that came out recently and we really enjoyed it! Overall we recommend this series!
